CNC Machinist II (2nd shift, M-TH 4x10)

Coperion is looking for a CNC Machinist II - 2nd Shift to join our team in Wytheville, Virginia.
As a CNC Machinist II - 2nd Shift you will be responsible for operating the manual and CNC machinery on production basis (i.
e.
, make arbors, jigs, and tools to hold a work piece in the machine).
The schedule for this position is 2nd shift (4x10):
Monday through Thursday from 3:
00pm - 1:
00am.

Operate the manual and CNC machinery on production basis (i.
e.
, make arbors, jigs, and tools to hold a work piece in the machine).
Able to perform tool work if needed.
Working on other machines such as key seater pull broach, de-burring, sandblasting, and honing including load, unload, and set up.
Clean and maintain machines periodically.
Lift weights of up to 40 lbs.
Perform quality control checks of screw elements using gauges.
De-burring and sandblasting of all parts needed.
Clean shop area as needed.
Do all related work that is necessary in the manufacturing area.
Perform other related tasks as assigned by proper authority.
Other duties may be assigned.
Basic Requirements:
Minimum High School Diploma or GED required, technical degree a preferred.
At least 2 years' experience as a CNC MachinistAbility to correctly read required measuring devices.
Ability to read necessary blueprints.
Great to Haves:
Technical degree is a plus.
Understanding of codes including G CodesExperience running CNC LathesPhysical Demands:
