LPN-Clinic PRN

Job Description Wythe County Community Hospital
The LPN is responsible for providing nursing care consistent with the goals and philosophy of the Wythe Physician Practices. The LPN is required to provide professional nursing care and assists in the delivery of health care management for patients. This position requires strong clinical and critical thinking skills. The LPN must be able to multi-task in a very fast paced, family practice/internal medical office environment. May be required to help cover other areas as needed.
Job Requirements
Licensed in the Commonwealth of VA as a Licensed Practical Nurse and in good standing with the Board of Health Professions.
BCLS certified.
Vehicle for use on the job.
Demonstrated knowledge of ICD-9, ICD-10, CPT Codes, insurance benefits and healthcare backgrounds. Knowledge of electronic medical records such as ECW and Meditech. Significant working knowledge of standard office equipment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
